Went to eat at some chicken rice restaurant around Katong after singing session at Katong Mall.

The food there, not very yummy. I don't like the way they cook the chicken. Guess the sauce is wrong.

The cool breeze after a rough day that refreshes my tired face.

I missed the the drive home in a lorry with my parents after pre school.
I missed munching on tid-bits while waiting for the school bus.
I missed walking beside my mates and craving for the same thing, bubbly bubble tea, after band practices.
I missed those warm hands that held mine while we kissed under the surfacing moonlight.
I missed taking a bus to Tampines central for dinners after school with friends.
I missed bouncing out of the office after a draggy day at work.

Now, I'm enjoying walking the walk to calm myself before facing the bunch of kids.

Who knows such a short duration time of the day could trade for happiness?
Indeed, I want to thank God for allowing such beautiful memories blooming in my life.

I want to do so well because being in one lousy school is enough. Can't afford to get lousy grades too. There's so many things to do, so many dreams to complete.

Life is more than that.

It’s more than a cup of nice tea, a comfortable bed to sleep in, a great bunch of friends, a loving family, etc.

Life can be more than that.
But it doesn’t mean that I don’t want my life to be this.

It’s just that,
I want my life to be simple yet sophisticated, relaxing yet enriching.
I want to live like never before.

Dreams changes in different phases of my life.

When I was young, my perfect dream was to become either a lawyer or a police, having a wonderful job to support my parents and I will be happy just for that.

In primary school, I realized that my language wasn’t my niche so I decided to change my dream. Instead, I dreamt to become a singer or actress. Who doesn’t?

Then in secondary school, I wanted to become a coroner. I just love how they can dissect humans to solve crimes.

In JC, I wanted to be a doctor again. But it’s such a difficult dream and my laziness steals it away. So my A level results begged me a place in SIM.

Now I’m studying in SIM as a student of UOL. Exams are coming soon and I can’t afford to fail again this time. Once is enough. I want my life to get back on my “perfect” track.
So now I’m considering, it’ll be good if I can carry on my Master’s in Economics in London if possible.

Or, maybe going in the teaching industry.
Or, perhaps be a rock star like Huda. =)

Randomly,
I want to live in a castle. I don’t care if it looks creepy or haunted. I wonder if I can achieve this dream in future.

I want to travel. Places like Middle East, Europe, or even the Poles.

I might not be staying in Singapore when I’m old. It’s nice to wake up to the swishing of sea waves or even the howling wind in Holland.

Thank God for giving me time for dreams.

Movies on TV

These are some of the movies I caught on movie channels like HBO, Cinnemax and Star Movies lately.

1408I finally watched this! A horror movie that includes a creepy room and stuff. Wasn't really very scary. Perhaps I knew some parts thanks to Emy and Mike for telling me those last year.
But it did gave me the goosebumps.

The CondemnedDefinitely psychotic! But the ending was easily predicted. Allowed me to ponder about the heavy issues of lives, such as the instinct to survive, the survival of the fittest(Darwin's Law) haha!
Humans are really scary creatures which can kill to live.

Freedom Writers
A touching story. I just welled up when I think about the fact that people around you are not leading a happy life like you do. They face discrimination, war, and constant fear everyday.
This was a true story and it tells of how a normal teacher can change the lives of some teenagers. Though it may only helped some, at least a person was doing something. I hope such teachers still exists.

Twilight Oh, did I mentioned this movie was a disappointment? The 1st half of the movie was boring. I nearly fall asleep. The acting was....pukey. So draggy, so weird, with not much inner stuff told. There should be more to it. Okay, I think I better go read the novels sometime.

Oh well, chick flick with quite an expected ending.
It's nice to watch if you've got nothing to do. The Aussie accent was really strong. Ha!
I'd read one of the latest novel from this series before.
It's called "Startled by his Furry shorts", (Confessions of Georgia Nicolson) by Louise Rennison
A nice book to relax but doesn't have an ending. Guess I have to continue reading till the end, but I'll pass thank you.
The book has lots of slangs like the movie.

How childish I am. I'm the only one who knows.

Up till now, I used to think that I'm such an unlucky girl, who failed in studies, relationships and I'm just hanging around, looking for something.

I am a Christian.
Yes.
Since young, I had been shot deep into my heart that the reason for living is to worship the Lord. That makes me sound really holy and right. But after some deep thought, i realized that it's actually engraved in my brain instead. My heart doesn't think that way anymore. Why am I feeling this way? There should be more meaning to life and everything. More

Who can I blame but myself for my own lousy results. I should have listened to my dad about not starting an intimate relationship while schooling cause it's too much to handle. Serve me right. I'm starting to hate guys. I no longer trust in love that's all. And I thought Christians are the ones having the LOVE but not me now. Maybe just not the love from the opposites. It's okay if they are my friends. But I just want a break from all these. Will I ever change?

I'm lost.
I'm like the low-life humans I once said. Numbed to all senses.
The ones who saw the hurt and pain every time reported on news such as, the natural disasters in other places, terror threats, etc. but just said,"Oh God, this is sad." Then instantly flip the page and carry on with my life.
What am I doing? Why am I so inhuman now?

There were others who have lives much worse than me. Handicapped, dysfunctional families, war, incurable diseases... Can I just stop hating my own life now?!

I should count my blessings but sometimes, I just can't.
I have so many things I wanted but these are just not enough.
I seemed to have a lust for everything. It's wrong and I want to change. I want to be content again.
I had changed from the better to worse all these years.
I need to get rid of my childish ways and thinking. I want to grow up.
Get wiser.

All these indeed made me angry. I'm an angry person now. Always there to criticize, scold and be really skeptical. I hate this me.

I want to find the answers to my life.
I hate not knowing things.
All the set backs that I had went through up till now, were not enough to conclude that I'm a loser yet. I'm not giving up.
I want to be stronger.
I want to trust people again, I want to trust God again.

This YY ar! Suppose to meet us to swim in the morn but overslept!
Too bad! U missed out on our happy time. LOL

Then we met up to bugis for some shopping. And I came to realise that I'm so dead! I overspent like crazy! Control me pls!!!

So my only time studying that day will be that short 2 and half hours at starbucks.
And YY had cut her hair earlier tt day. I think it's quite pretty what. Got that "Gu Dai" feeling. Haha. But she kept complaining that it's very short. Nag nag nag. Hahahah!
I really like the ambiance inside, sipping my hot chocolate and listening to the jazz played over the speakers.

My event- City Venture The "incRATible" race was finally over!
It had been over for a week already.
All thanks to this event, I'd spent lots of $$ on traveling and running around Singapore like a mad dog! So it can accumulate to at least $80 in total--2 dry runs plus actual.
Lucky for me, the stations I mended was a breeze and I get to relax and enjoy air-con for the 2 out of 3.

So here's something to share. It's a game similar to charades. Except that there'll be a person being blind-folded and he/she has to guess the word or phrase acted out by another person, and being described by 3 other describers.

She's my age and is having her World Tour concert already! What am I still doing here?!

The concert was great! She's pretty, sexy and tall. (I want her height!!) I'm so lucky to be near the stage. Emy likes her attitude. My fav songs are "shut up and drive" and "please don't stop the music". I know many people hated the latter so what? I love it!

The ONE incident today was that her mike wasn't on during the start of the concert. So she was sorta pissed, erm, in fact quite pissed, scolded the crew at the side of the stage. Unglamorous but moreover, she's hot.

I want my own concert already!

These were the concerts I went to in the past 2 weeks.

1st, it was Judy Ongg, an old classic singer who sings in Mandarin, dialect, and Japanese. She has a good and clear voice. My mum's era. haha!
Then, Kanye West Hip hop music style. Songs like "Gold digger" and "Good life" are some nice ones.
The long anticipated Wang Lee Hom Musicman concert! The name "Musicman" was actually his idea to be one of the "superheroes" like BatMAN, SpiderMAN, and SuperMAN.
He's really talented with musical instruments. Played the guitar, violin, drums, and piano. Good with his throat range voice as well. However, a lousy dancer. It's okay, just don't dance.

Watched HSM3 on the big screen. Should have chosen digital version cos the normal resolution was really bad! Worse than my TV seriously.Sushi is already integrated in me! I had sushi 3 times a week!!! At least not as frequent as YY. Hahah! But this is like what? The next day right after Sushi with YY and Sally the previous day?! And it's the same place, Cene! This is ridiculous!My fellow food critic. =) Excuses!!!

All that I can say is that the people in handball are really friendly.

I found out about some facts about this restaurant that makes me eek! I'll never ever choose to go if I have a choice. It hurts my feelings to think that I used to be a fan of this place.

It used to have a lot more flavours---banana, chocolate and walnut. It doesn't mean I don't like corn flavoured. But it'll be great to find those flavours back.The price is increasing everytime. It used to cost only about 12 bucks for a meal, now, 20 bucks. I know it's inflation, price increases everywhere. But isn't recession now?!

I dreamt about recession a few months ago. I think I have supernatural powers. Muahahaha!

It's a sister branch with another of my regular, Nihon Mura Sushi.
All sushi plates at 99 cents! How cheap can it be?!

This YY ar, lie to all of us that by putting the whole sushi (spicy salmon gunkun) into mouth will be damn shiok! In the end, only Ceci tried and this was what happened!

Poor Ceci. Mouth so small still put the whole thing in. LOLI'm already at this greatness level of eating sushi that I managed 13 plates! More than anyone of them!The twins had 16 plates together. So is 8 per person.YY managed 8 also? Look at her defeated face! Muahahah! Can't beat me! =PIrene was a joker! She only managed 5!

And in the middle of eating, she was stuck at 1 plate for super long when all of us had our 5th or 6th plate. Here, she didn't even finish her egg sushi!

Why so sian?Haha, no idea who took this. But the person's agenda must be to snap the 2 guys sitting beside our table. The plates they took were all the expensive ones! So we thought they might be from Japan. Lol. But I got a feeling now that they're from China. >_

Though it's just cream puff, but the cold and sweet custard was very appetizing after all the salt-ish sushi.

I was so excited when more of these cream puffs came onto the belt and had a minor asthma attack and called for Ceci to grab these! Then everyone was so with me and screamed weakly as well. HahahaOkay, my 1st time at Gloria Jeans~

Throughout the movie, we were trying very hard to make sense of all the jokes and everything. Then our conclusion is… this movie itself is a JOKE!

It was really fun winding down the windows, speeding at the speed of about 110km/hr, blasting our music, and singing along to Tokio Hotel Through The Monsoon in the car~

This ain’t no spotlight! It was the Moon! So super bright that we were able to cast a shadow just by the light coming from it alone! Trying to be romantic on the beach at night and chill. I bet we were disturbing the couples there instead. Wahaha!

It was really hilarious when we started talking about GenY again! I watched that movie countless times man! D-10-10 and "Jumbo, I'll be there!"(With the funny twinge) Those were classics man! I'll always remember them!

Sorry I’m late! But I do have a reason.
I was involved in my school src event dry run that had lasted for 2 days 1 night. Means I went straight for the tiring “run-around” dry run after my wind surfing, then 3 hrs of light sleep that night, and run around the next day for another 8 hrs, then finally going home, get a quick shower and chiong to meet u guys.

So basically, I joined after their dinner at Jack’s Place Marina.Got to try Jessica’s home-made cake!It’s super yummy and professionally baked! My mouth starts watering just by saying it. The alcohol taste was good and the sweetness was just right.

There was a lady who in prompt to sang jazz along with the band. You could see that they were really making music and enjoying themselves. Our drinks~
Bottoms upThis rekindled one of my ambition and dream I had once in secondary 1. Which is to open a bar and have my own jazz band, I’ll be playing the trumpet of course!
I still love jazz trumpet and hope to be able to play pro one day. If I can play as well as those in the ITG trumpet carmine Caruso international solo competition, then I know I’m up for it. Hahaha!

It was totally brillant! A must and worth catching movie!!
The story is smart and the thrilling scenes just brings it higher.
Action pact and amazing!

Though some parts of the movie are quite impossible or illogical right now, it might happen in future if humans are smart enough to create such a system.

I agree that Shia Labeouf looks cuter when he's clean shaven. ^-^

On the way home, we were discussing about artificial intelligence. Or more so, Robots. I can't imagine robots that can think and act like humans! Won't they overtake us and rule our World?! Oh Man!!! I gotta be smarter than the robots!

Almond paste with papaya. Smooth and rich! Never know papaya complements almond paste so well!

The shui jin bao was yummy! The skin was not sticky and the prawn tasted quite fresh! But the chi chong fan was quite a disappointment because I anticipated the kind that comes with light soy sauce. After that, we walked quite a lot. Wanted to go pub, but didn't. Wanted to sit in Macs but didn't. So we walked over to The Cathy.

Hmm, I must had tried myself so much that I dozed off in every single lecture this week!

Saturday reached home at around 2.30am, then Sunday morning woke up early for gym then swimming after that. Not the end of Sunday still, went out with Blondes for steamboat(2nd time that week!), then walked around at Gelang Serai. Reached home around 12, type doc. Didn't get much sleep again. Monday morning School. Whole day till 6.30, at night tuition. Then online, load pics, 5 hrs of sleep again. Tuesday school from 8.30 to 3pm. Tuition at night. Type doc. Was feeling super ultra giddy! Today morning swimming, then band, at nite tuition, now typing this crap.

Guess I should stopped doing unimportant stuff and get some rest!
And I'm damn freaking tanned now! Depress!

So many things happened in 1 week! I didn’t even have the time to stop and think. The next thing I know, BAM! Here it comes, and here it goes!

Let’s start by recapping from last Wednesday, after my short school week of 2 days. What did I do, what did I do??

Oh yes! I went to Tanjong Pajar to find Shu Yin for some yummy lunch!
This place called the “Party World”. You might think that we went KTV. Well, half true. It’s a KTV but we were only dining at the restaurant below. So, no singing for us.
The exciting part is this!
It costs only $8 per person; each gets a main course depending on the day’s set lunch, a drink, a serving of fruits, and UNLIMITED FREE FLOW OF SOUP!!!
U've heard me right!
Everyday will have different flavour of soup. That day had cream of chicken, cream of corn, water crest soup, winter melon soup and some Chinese desert soup.

Shu Yin was super amazed that I managed 5 bowls of soup! Hahaha!

Us enjoying our food!My Tea~Yin kept laughing when I described to her my fantasy of this pretty cup. Of how I imagined it should be served when we’re sitting in the garden, with the wooden chairs and tables, sipping our high tea like “Tai Tais”. LOL
The ambience is good except for the anti climax table setting (the fruit/food table paper u see in the pictures). Yin said the 1st time she got in, she thought she’s in Macau! I feel her man!
Okay, this is the coolest part! $8 for a whole meal? Super Cool!
Without taking into account of GST and service charge, it’s 6.50 per meal. Let’s say:
Drink-tea=$1
Soup/bowl=$0.60 (I drank 5 bowls=$3.00)
Fruits=$1.00
So the main course only costs $1.50?! What?! Too gd to be true! But it’s undeniably true!!!

Really had a great time with Yin. We should do this often! Thanks for the treat by the way! I felt really blessed. I hope you find comfort in my company too! Cos I did. We must live our young lives to the fullest!

After that, I went over to Pasir Ris for SRC meeting at Macs. Had some productive discussion at 1st, and then we start to stone and digress. Haha.

Around evening, we head on to Aloha Loyang chalet for SRC Welfare BBQ!!! Yum Yum!!! I think I ate a lot. I ate A LOT actually! Hehehehe.
Really had a great time there EATING! Didn’t get to know everyone because all were busily flapping the food on the charcoal pit and stuffing food into their mouths! Even the head said that this was a lousy example of a gathering. Should have games and stuff. See la! It’s the leaders’ fault! They even tried and succeeded in making us missed our shuttle bus in hope that we’ll stay to finish the load of food that was left. But we still went home after the photo taking. Haha!

Kickboxing wasn’t as tiring as the 1st time. Perhaps cos we were late and missed the 1st part? Who knows? But there were more intensive sets that gave me muscle ache on the arms the next day. Luckily there’re no crunches and pumpings last week. Ha!

Saturday wind surfing
Yi Chao hen fan la! He said he charged more than a normal cab. Accept blue notes! Siao! But thanks for the ride anyway. I’ll need those rides for all my sats. Muahaha!
The wind was manageable, but the waves was quite strong. During surfing, I was pushed near the breakwaters by the strong current. So I had to swim out, pulling my sail so as not to hit the rocks. I think I took quite a long time trying to swim out. Then this cute ang mo driving the motorboat came to my rescue! Wahahaha! He asked me if I need help. But I said I’m okay (didn’t want to disgrace myself know. Act act nia) In fact, I was really tired. Still, I stand on my sail and sailed out. LOL
He’s actually one of the sailing instructors.

I think the national sailors there are really handsome! (Now I see why Ade said sailors are really cute.) TC teased that this particular cute guy is finding a gf. Lol He actually shouted it to both of us la! Siao! Then the guy shouted to TC “hey, why stand? Sit down sit down!” And TC actually sat!!! Oh my tian! So pro can! He can actually sit and wind surf?! God-like! No wonder he’s national windsurfing coach! Surf for 20 years! Wow! I hope that I can be like him, change direction like nobody’s business! Can even tag while closing his eyes!!!

We were super late for service! And because of that, I saw Felicia!!! The 1st time in so many weeks to see her in church! Such luck!
And Matthew said that he don't mind to be a Tai Tai next time! And take care of kids and stuff. How odd? Females and males switching roles! GP topic! Ha!

So the twins’ b day was Sunday. My sis and I went over to their house after service, without them knowing about the surprise party planned by Gina. Gina was really excited that night! So funny! Everyone was waiting and the suspense just kicked in. There were about 15 people there for the surprise party. When Ade and Ceci came home, they were surprised! So it worked out well!
I hope they had fun that day my best friends!

Saturday Windsurfing

I always thought having a strong wind would be easier to sail. WRONG!

Yesterday, the windspeed was more than 10 knots! Adding to it, the current was moving in the same direction as the wind!

As a learner, I fell into the sea many times. Drank a lot of seawater. And dropped my sail countless times. The wind was so strong such that I had a hard time pulling up my sail and maintaining it at position. Even a slight ascend of the sail from the sea allowed the whole sail to move! That’s how strong the wind was!

I guess I had been using the wrong method to pull my sail up. That’s why my back hurts today!!! Muscle backache! I have problem bending, squatting down, and even trying to sit! So can’t do much for gym session today. Can’t even run! Argh!

I really do hope my dad allows me to drive without him by my side! Cos Singapore Sailing Centre is so inaccessible that I had to take cab down every week. Luckily this time I get to free ride with my friends to PP for lunch. But what about my weeks after this?! I have to get to PP straight after windsurfing! Oh man…

I was super drained by the end of the day.

This time, we went to eat at Superdog.
The capsicum hotdog was mouth-watering! (Emy will definitely opt out!)
Overall, the dogs are really nice! As in Hotdogs! Really juicy when you bite on it and chew with your heart’s delight!

Throughout, I was keeping quiet and laughed at stupid imaginations like the marathon one above. I wonder what do these young minds contained nowadays. Bewildered.

Imagine I have to live with this every single week?! Gotta see them twice next week! Oh my oh my...

See! I'm so super nice! Pei you cos I know you'll be all alone, feeling sad and depress for the 6 hrs! U better be thankful girl! =P I'm such a nice friend~ ^-^

On my way there, there was this girl standing behind me fainted out of a sudden! Gave me a shock! So it all happened so fast. A guy gave up his seat, a lady and I supported the fainted lady to the chair, the Ah Ma beside happened to posses ointment, so gave it to her. Drama... I think she studied too much the night before cos she looked like a student to me. (her bag was real heavy) Or maybe she's sick? Hope she's okay now...

This was the 1st time I actually see the button mushrooms cut up in the soup! (for pizza hut at least)

My favourite is the spicy chicken drumlets!!! Super ultra full after the meal! Sorry, But I can’t “pei” you for the next 3 hrs!
